a look at daycare activities

so what really goes on there? Well, Alicia's daycare is a pretty busy place. They are on the cool list by me, as each day they take pictures of the daily activities the kids are participating in and send them out for the parents. It's a nice thing to get in the middle of your day to know that the kiddos are doing good when you can't be there to watch over them.

just doing what I do...

here's a few fun pictures of me just doing what I like to do the most during the day... I like to build block towers, which I'm getting really good at when I use my bristle blocks. I love to draw with my markers and colors and make a mess. I like reading books and sitting in crazy spots that I probably shouldn't be. And of course, I enjoy my play kitchen a lot and trying to stir up new things for the family.

kitty bake oven?

as awful as that title sounded, "kitty" bake oven, it seemed pretty cute...Friday, Alicia and Tanner were hanging out and playing like usual and all of the sudden I hear a squeal from Alicia. She discovered a cat-napping Tanner inside her play kitchen.
I guess she had left the bottom doors open the last time she was playing with it and Tanner decided it was a cozy area to camp out for a bit.

up for springtime, as she's learning how to scoot around in her car in the house.

Lastly, Alicia was a rockstar at her doctor's apt on Friday when she had her stitches removed. She was so good, she only cried a tiny bit when the dr. removed the second stitch, but overall she was amazing.

better boo-boo pics

For all of you asking about Alicia's first real boo-boo, here are the aftermath pictures... last night it started to turn a little purple/blueish - just in time for her follow-up visit at the dr's office. The dr said it looked like it was healing fine, so we go back in on Friday to get the stitches removed - yeah... that should be another fun round ...

last week's snow

Here's some photos from last weeks big snow. Thought I better post these before we get the next big batch of snow tonight ;) Alicia and I ventured outside the other day with our neighbor friends and Alicia actually seemed to have a good time for a bit. Alicia actually played in the snow for a few minutes with Justin which was really cool, as she usually has no interest in the white stuff. I can't blame her that's for sure, as basking in the sun's rays is way more fun that freezing our noses off in the dead of winter.

Well, Today started off pretty good.. We went down to the Haney's to take some pictures, and just hang out. Things went well.. (we may post pics l8r), but then (just as we were about to head out.. Alicia saw a brownie on the counter table. She went for it.. missed, and bounced off the table and side smacked the arm chair with her eye socket. See the picture for where. We drove back home (about an hour).. went to the ER (where they knew us from our last venture... Adam the tech is pretty cool), and then the doc gave her 2 stiches. All said and done.. it was about an hour from in the ER. (most time was waiting to get registered after we had the stiches already :))
