fuzzy pjs
"those are too small, i'm not a baby, mommy" - words from Alicia.. lol.. Even though we think it still, she's definately got a mind of her own most days. Like she really doesn't prefer these fuzzy footed pjs anymore, but once in a great while she'll wear them. The other night she was so cute in them, I had to get a few more pics as I knew this phase isn't lasting much longer, that it unless I can find some cute princess ones for her to where... then maybe.. haha..

New Glarus/Dells 2010
While Mommy is out with her guys from work/softball watching NCAA basketball... I thought i'd blog a bit about our recent trip to New Glarus and Wisconsin Dells.
Initially, we went to visit my cousin Jay and Sarina in the New Glarus area. We stopped at their place for a bit, and visited with his wife Sarina. Alicia really loved her Scooby Doo room. (So much she did an accidental #1 there) (Sorry & Thanks Jay). After a short visit there, we went to visit my aunt (Doris) and uncle (Jerry). It was great to see them and their new (to us) house. They live out in the country, and with the day as nice as it was, made for a great visit. Even was able to view some old Kluesner pictures from Doris's albums. I now have another contact for when i get back in the geneaology groove. (Note to me... she has some good ones of my great-grandparents, as well as good ones of dad. It was great to see them and they looked very good... Unfortunately, we forgot to take any pictures there. After our trip to the Laheys, Jay took us to Culvers and then to the New Glarus Brewery. Tony introduced me to Spotted Cow a few months back, and have heard of the brewery.... so it was worth the trip.
Below are a few pics from the brewery. Alicia had a good time too.. she found an inflatable cow, and tried to milk it. :)
After the day-trip to New Glarus, we made our way to our ultimate destination-Wisconsin Dells. We checked in, had a great nite with the Suttmanns who also arrived early on Friday.... we had some spaghetti, followed by a quick trip to the lazy river. The Bormet's met up with us a little later in the nite, and we enjoyed the next day at the parks (and Monks) as well. It was really cool to just relax for a weekend, and Alicia loved being with many of her friends (Lucas/Megan/Carl).
Heather may re-blog about this, but just wanted to put this up before we forget about it. (I posted other pics to facebook for those who are friends of ours)

"Nice out, yet, mommy??"
Yes, Alicia springtime is almost here... Birds chirping, muddy
sidewalks, tulips popping, and a little bit of green is showing just
in time for St. Pattys day.

Alicia wanted to "walk her puppy" - it was cute, so puppy went forba
stroller ride with us. This was one of our first nice evenings to
enjoy a walk around the neighborhood.

Monkey Joes

The other weekend, we met up with the Suttmann kids and went to Monkey Joes! Monkey Joes was a pretty happening hopping place! Kids were all over the place having lots of fun, while the poor parents were all trying to keep up with their little ones having a blast. Alicia and Lucas REALLY enjoyed themselves. Megan seemed to like the slides more than anything else, as I think she wasn't enjoying the unstable "ground" below her! The inflatables were pretty cool, heck, even some of the parents were enjoying it as well. :) I think I needed a GPS unit for Alicia there though as trying to keep track of her and it was nuts. Thankfully between 3 adults, we were able to keep on eye on the 3 kids going every which way! ;) Alicia was up, down, over, under, climbing up, sliding, down, and all over the place every two seconds! whew.. definitely a great place to get some built up energy out! Last year we went to a birthday party to a similar avenue like this place and Alicia really had some issues climbing and staying steady on the inflatables. This time though, she really showed some self-confidence this time around... so much independence that I swear I lost her a few times, as she just went off on her own adventures. Nice try kid, you can't shake mommy or daddy that easily...

Hmmm.Italian ice..
I went to Johnnies beef the other day before I picked up Alicia and
she saw my cup instantly when we got in the van. Alicia asks "mommy,
share with me" and was asking if it was "coffee or shake". So I gave
her a drink and instantly knew I was not getting my watermelon Italian
ice back. At first bite then she quickly realized it was much more
sweeter and colder than expected and continued to suck it all down.
Luckily I already had most of it so she didn't get too much of a
sugary, icey cold head rush :)
