typical Alicia

Here's Alicia being a ham for the camera...her latest is to get ready for the orange light from my camera and start to quint and wrinkle her nose and give a sh*t grin.

Alicia showing Samantha her latest activity in the kitchen, pulling off and rearranging the magnets off the fridge - how exciting is that... :)

And, oh yes, what does Alicia do when mommy is working during the day, getting into stuff she probably shouldn't be getting into... but hey, she was having fun and I got some work done for that hour :)

so this is what all the rage is....

so for the last year, all I've been hearing is how great this fincel's corn is back in Iowa, and finally the last time we visited the grandparents, I finally got a chance at the sweet, buttery, yellow and white stuff they call corn... well I was not sure what to do with it at first because it was so huge, but I got the hang of it eventually... yummyumm...can't wait for some more corn.

Alicia's bedtime story...

The Story of Tanner and the One Baby Alicia (our rendition of Goldielocks and 3 bears)

Once upon a time, there was a little cat named Tanner. He went for a morning stroll down the stairs and into the living room of little Alicia. Pretty soon, he came upon a little play area. He meowed and pawed and, when no one answered he walked right over.

In the corner of the living room, there were three baby toys. Tanner was ready to play. So he played with the first toy, and then the second toy and both times, he exclaimed, "This toy is too boring!" So, he played with the last toy "Ahhh, this toy is just right," he said happily played.

After he'd played with baby Alicia's toys he decided he was feeling a little tired. So, he walked up to the bedroom where he saw three beds. Tanner tried them all, but all were too big. "These beds are too big!" he exclaimed. "I need to find one that is just right, " Tanner said. Tanner was very tired by this time, so he went to find a new place to catch a cat nap.

Next, Tanner went back downstairs to the living room where he saw some chairs. He saw lay down in the first, but it was too hard. Then he lay in the second, but it was too soft. Then he lay down in the third chair and it was just right - it was the big red plush Elmo Chair. . Tanner fell asleep. As he was sleeping, the baby Alicia explored the living room that morning. "Someone's been playing with my toys!" cried the baby Alicia. "Someone's been sleeping in my bed, too" said the mommy,

"Someone's been sleeping in my chair and he's still there!" exclaimed Baby Alicia. Just then, Tanner woke up and saw the little Alicia. He howled and meowed, and he jumped up and ran out of the room. Tanner ran up the stairs, and ran away to hide into the bedroom. And he never returned again to Alicia's Elmo chair. (well I don't know how true this will be .) THE END

DQ

Alicia enjoying her first Dairy Queen shake :)

look ma--- no hands... this is pretty tasty

hiya

so I think we can finally post about Alicia waving... for the last probably few months, she has shown us a wave here or there, but nothing too consistent. It's been just the typical Alicia attitude, "I'll do it when I want to do it, you can't tell me when or how to do it.." But in the last month or so we've been getting more and more waves :)

4th of July

Here's some pictures from my second Fourth of July! We had a pretty nice and relaxing morning, then I went for a dip in my pool this afternoon, and then we went for supper and fireworks. I had a good time, but I was pretty tired and could barely make it through the grand finale... Happy 4th of July!

I'm watching the fireworks with Carl and Lucas

Night-night...

new ride

look at me in my new big girl seat... I now get to ride in my big girl seat more. I can't ride forward facing yet, (cause I'm so tiny) but that's ok, as I get to look at my cute self in the mirror still and I get to make funny faces at the people that ride in the back seat of the van.
