Following Lego directions

Alicia is doing pretty awesome following the directions with her Lego building sets lately. Very proud of her. Only a few very small bumps she encounters, such a big improvement in the last few months.

Alicia used little stampers and stamped out her name. Then we made copies and she stapled them together for a fun little notepad.

Alicia Turns 7!

This past week, Alicia turned 7 years old.   And if you were around her.  You'd know how excited she was.  She was counting down the days (literally) to her birthday for atleast a week.  We had a pretty eventful weekend with her choice of meal (Olive Garden), an American Girl trip, a trip to Shedd Aquarium, and her girlfriends from school had a small party at the park after her last day of school.  Alicia will remember this birthday for a long time.  I can hear it now a few years from now.  "Remember on my 7th birthday when we.... "  She has an uncanny memory on things shes extremely excited about.

She's been working on her Lego Friends House which she received for her birthday for like a week now.  She's done very good at following directions, and freaking out little.   The only issue now is when Ben comes near ir.  She's afraid of him going all Godzilla on it.

I'm sure we will post more pictures in the time to come, but wanted to document the events so we have something to look back on when Alicia asks us to remember her birthday when she was 7 years old.
