Happy bday Alicia from Ben

Ben did a great job at wishing Alicia a happy 9th birthday today. He knew his sister well by picking out her favorite toy and by making an awesome card for her. He wrote/drew her card all by himself with minimal help from mommy too. Alicia said it was a good day :)

'Twas the day before Alicia's birthday

Sugar cookie making time! Alicia wanted to take sugar cookies for her
birthday treat at her baseball game tomorrow. So we had fun making
cookies today. I don't know what they liked more- The cookie dough or
the old hand mixer of mine that was going crazy trying to mix the
cookie dough up.

Happy 4th birthday to Ben

Alicia and Ben are now only 4 years apart and from what the scale said today, 4 lbs apart, too. Yeah. My pint sized kids... Or perhaps my 15 gallon sized kids :) Atleast they we're sharing and having fun here !

Taking my brother on safari

Haha.. They are playing nice today for a bit.. Alicia said she's taking Ben on a safari with her, called The Jungle Escape.

All I want...is my two front teeth..

Another one bites the dust... I wonder if the tooth fairy gets paid overtime or holiday pay??

Great job, Alicia! She's mastered the timed test of the x2 multiplication facts...she was pretty excited as the 2s-b test only took her 1 try! Very proud of her! Now, On to the 3s!

Dress created by Alicia- A Paris view

I came across this other morning , think this is my favorite that Alicia made by herself. pretty cool, perhaps I need to find more dress-up art stuff for Alicia for Christmas... She's doing a good job with the small stencil album she has.
The dress is a bit of a cross between the Uk and France flag with the colors and design, but I love the idea she tried out :-)
