New Glarus/Dells 2010

While Mommy is out with her guys from work/softball watching NCAA basketball... I thought i'd blog a bit about our recent trip to New Glarus and Wisconsin Dells.

Initially, we went to visit my cousin Jay and Sarina in the New Glarus area. We stopped at their place for a bit, and visited with his wife Sarina. Alicia really loved her Scooby Doo room. (So much she did an accidental #1 there) (Sorry & Thanks Jay). After a short visit there, we went to visit my aunt (Doris) and uncle (Jerry). It was great to see them and their new (to us) house. They live out in the country, and with the day as nice as it was, made for a great visit. Even was able to view some old Kluesner pictures from Doris's albums. I now have another contact for when i get back in the geneaology groove. (Note to me... she has some good ones of my great-grandparents, as well as good ones of dad. It was great to see them and they looked very good... Unfortunately, we forgot to take any pictures there. After our trip to the Laheys, Jay took us to Culvers and then to the New Glarus Brewery. Tony introduced me to Spotted Cow a few months back, and have heard of the brewery.... so it was worth the trip.

Below are a few pics from the brewery. Alicia had a good time too.. she found an inflatable cow, and tried to milk it. :)

After the day-trip to New Glarus, we made our way to our ultimate destination-Wisconsin Dells. We checked in, had a great nite with the Suttmanns who also arrived early on Friday.... we had some spaghetti, followed by a quick trip to the lazy river. The Bormet's met up with us a little later in the nite, and we enjoyed the next day at the parks (and Monks) as well. It was really cool to just relax for a weekend, and Alicia loved being with many of her friends (Lucas/Megan/Carl).

Heather may re-blog about this, but just wanted to put this up before we forget about it. (I posted other pics to facebook for those who are friends of ours)
