Alicia's bedtime story...

The Story of Tanner and the One Baby Alicia (our rendition of Goldielocks and 3 bears)

Once upon a time, there was a little cat named Tanner. He went for a morning stroll down the stairs and into the living room of little Alicia. Pretty soon, he came upon a little play area. He meowed and pawed and, when no one answered he walked right over.

In the corner of the living room, there were three baby toys. Tanner was ready to play. So he played with the first toy, and then the second toy and both times, he exclaimed, "This toy is too boring!" So, he played with the last toy "Ahhh, this toy is just right," he said happily played.

After he'd played with baby Alicia's toys he decided he was feeling a little tired. So, he walked up to the bedroom where he saw three beds. Tanner tried them all, but all were too big. "These beds are too big!" he exclaimed. "I need to find one that is just right, " Tanner said. Tanner was very tired by this time, so he went to find a new place to catch a cat nap.

Next, Tanner went back downstairs to the living room where he saw some chairs. He saw lay down in the first, but it was too hard. Then he lay in the second, but it was too soft. Then he lay down in the third chair and it was just right - it was the big red plush Elmo Chair. . Tanner fell asleep. As he was sleeping, the baby Alicia explored the living room that morning. "Someone's been playing with my toys!" cried the baby Alicia. "Someone's been sleeping in my bed, too" said the mommy,

"Someone's been sleeping in my chair and he's still there!" exclaimed Baby Alicia. Just then, Tanner woke up and saw the little Alicia. He howled and meowed, and he jumped up and ran out of the room. Tanner ran up the stairs, and ran away to hide into the bedroom. And he never returned again to Alicia's Elmo chair. (well I don't know how true this will be .) THE END

Calpurnia says to tell Tanner that he's a very sexy cat in his own right!
