Weekend in Review

This was our first trip back to the Hawkeye state since Fred's wedding, and boy was it a busy one.

On the agenda was to watch the Cubs/Cards whenever we could, as well as heading to the Hany's on Friday and the Schroeder's on Saturday. All in all it was a pretty good weekend. And of course we took some pix. :)

We met Reid's little sister Norah for the first time on this visit, and Reid and Alicia had fun playing together. They had a few toddler moments but for the most part they played well together.

Amara's 2nd Birthday

Alicia had a good time visiting her 2nd cousin Amara. Amara had a birthday party (co-hosted with Amelia) at the Schroeder's house in Eldridge Iowa. It rained earlier in the day, but turned out to be a pretty nice (but warm) day. It made for good pool party weather though. There were 4-5 kiddie pools for all of the kiddies there.
